Hi, I'm Mark... a software developer and a physics geek.

Data Plumbing is where Data Science meets DevOps, and that's where I happily spend most of my time.

I'm thrilled to work on the Ubuntu Server Team for Canonical. We're building DevOps tools and helping folks learn to use these tools to architect and manage their infrastructure.

Most of my past experience is in data science... both in the enterprise and as an entrepreneur. I have a resume in (html | text | pdf).

I have a Ph.D. in Physics for research in Quantum Computation. Here's a copy of my dissertation on Noise in Quantum Algorithms.
